Production System / Continuous Carbonization

Continuous
Biochar Carbonizer.

The FULL CAPACITY™ Continuous Biochar Carbonizer converts suitable biomass — particularly wood chips — into stable, carbon-rich biochar through a controlled continuous carbonization process.

Continuous Production

Built for Continuous Output.

Unlike a batch carbonizer, which must be loaded, carbonized, cooled and emptied before beginning another cycle, this system is designed for continuous production.

Biomass enters from one end while finished carbonized material is continuously discharged and cooled at the other. That makes it suitable for integrated production hubs rather than one-cycle batch operation.

Machine Architecture

How the Carbonizer Works.

Wood chips are introduced through a screw conveyor and controlled feeding system into the carbonization chamber. Inside, the biomass is exposed to high temperatures under controlled conditions, transforming the organic material into stable biochar.

Technical Highlights

Controlled Feed, Carbonization & Cooling.

The system incorporates a combustion chamber, main and auxiliary burners, a fan and a flue-gas recirculation system. These components manage the heat and gases generated during carbonization.

After carbonization, the extremely hot biochar passes through two 6 m cooling conveyors equipped with external water-cooling jackets and an airlock outlet so the material can cool before further handling.

Production Sequence

One Continuous Line.

A simplified production overview from feedstock entry to finished biochar discharge. Cleaner layout, clearer steps and more spacing for the content.

01 / Feed Biomass Input

Suitable woody biomass, particularly wood chips, is prepared and introduced into the line.

02 / Control Screw Conveyor

A controlled screw feeding system meters biomass into the carbonization chamber.

03 / Convert Carbonization

High-temperature controlled conditions transform organic material into stable carbon-rich biochar.

04 / Cool Water-Jacket Cooling

The hot biochar passes through two externally water-cooled 6 m conveyors.

05 / Output Controlled Discharge

An airlock outlet allows the cooled material to move into further handling and processing.

Role in the FULL CAPACITYâ„¢ Project

Integrated into the Circular Hub.

The carbonizer fits directly into the FULL CAPACITYâ„¢ circular organic-waste and soil-improvement concept. Instead of treating suitable woody biomass and agricultural residues simply as waste, the system converts appropriate biomass streams into a useful agricultural input.

Its role is not isolated. It works alongside vermicompost production and other biological infrastructure so recovered organic resources can be returned to agricultural soils in a higher-value form.

Production Capacity

150 KG/H Finished Biochar.

For the FULL CAPACITYâ„¢ project, the stated production capacity is approximately 150 kg of biochar per hour.

That corresponds to approximately 3.6 tonnes every 24 hours if operated continuously, around 108 tonnes per 30-day month and approximately 1,314 tonnes per year at theoretical full 24/7 operation.

Hourly 150 KG

24 Hours 3.6 T

Theoretical output at uninterrupted 24-hour operation.

30-Day Month 108 T

Theoretical full-time equivalent before downtime.

Annual ~1,314 T

Theoretical 365-day equivalent before maintenance and interruptions.

These figures are theoretical continuous-operation equivalents and do not account for maintenance, downtime, feedstock variability or operating interruptions.

FULL CAPACITYâ„¢ Circular System

From Biomass Back to Soil.

The intended FULL CAPACITYâ„¢ cycle links biomass recovery, continuous carbonization, vermicompost integration and soil application back into agricultural production.

Integrated Soil Inputs

Biochar + Vermicompost.

01 / Biochar

Persistent Carbon Structure.

Biochar provides a porous, relatively persistent carbon-rich structure, while helping convert recovered biomass streams into a useful agricultural input.

  • Porous carbon-rich structure
  • Recovered from suitable biomass streams
  • Designed for soil integration
02 / Vermicompost

Biologically Active Organic Matter.

Vermicompost contributes organic matter, nutrients and biologically active material. Together with biochar, it supports a higher-value soil amendment strategy than treating either stream in isolation.

  • Nutrients & biological activity
  • Integrated with FULL CAPACITYâ„¢ soil systems
